在北美找到你的肖奈和贝微微，看美国CS学校排名

大家好，申请君刚刚从《微微一笑很倾城》的坑中站起来。本来只是抱着凑热闹的心态观望一下现在年轻人的审美取向，没想到随便点开一集，就被肖奈的颜值击中，瞬间让站长有种晚节不保的感觉。　　这两天微博上都在说“大学欠我一个肖奈”，申请君非常理解这些粉丝的心情。下面就来和申请君一起，扒一扒在北美，应该去哪里找到你的肖奈。　　首先，　　让我们来回顾一下肖奈的具体特征：　　庆大计算机系牛人，入校三年多领队在ACM等国际编程大赛中为学校获得荣誉，还擅长古筝、篮球、游泳、围棋、扫雷，曾作为游泳选手代表学校参赛夺金等。　　关于庆大，在第22集里，有路人甲这样描述：能与北理工、北外和北航比肩的学校，在帝都一定也非211、985莫属。这句话的原型是北大的牌子，民院的饭；北外的妹子，清华的汉。这庆大的原型多半就是北大了。　　肖奈不仅是一个CS大神，更是一个具有商业头脑和理财意识的人，初中的时候就和舅舅一起合资开网吧，抓住了网吧黄金发展期的小尾巴，赚得盆满钵满。　　按照这种履历，在申请君看来，如果托福与GRE成绩没有什么问题，凭着优异的成绩和丰富的社会实践经历，许多名校都会向他张开怀抱。　　就美国留学而言，如果本身就属于理工科，且有在美国就业的打算，选择计算机专业Computer Science其实是一个非常不错的决定。　　CS专业在就业上需求缺口一直比较大，加上美国STEM专业有各种政策优待，高薪和福利也一直让人羡慕。当然啦，这一切还是要结合个人的职业规划来决定，城市、校友、师资力量都是择校的时候需要考量的部分。申请君知道有位ECE大神Yu，目前就读于卡内基梅隆，他选择北美深造也是出于职业规划的角度，同样是entry level的码农，硅谷的起薪就非常优厚了。　　当然，他也渴望更加宽广的平台，他的学长学姐们毕业后大多在硅谷任职，lunch break跑去苹果、谷歌面试，每天接触行业顶尖人才，也一直是他所向往的。　　但有的人会觉得国内的码农就业环境无法与美帝相比，但其实这完全取决于个人喜好和性格因素。申请君有另一位CS大神朋友Stanley，他就因为职业发展而毅然决然地选择回国发展。　　Stanley曾在工作，坐标Santa Monica，工作轻松，年薪丰厚，日常还爱倒腾小投资。在站长这界同龄人里是第一个不依靠父母资助、去找房产中介买房的人。但是经过了一两年发展，他对于自己的工作并不满意。公司结构非常flat，想得到晋升需要熬很久。而且美国好山好水好无聊，敲代码的日子过得有点平淡无趣了。于是在考虑了就业前景和本身的职业规划后，他毅然决然辞职转战上海，现在于一家知名外企工作得不亦乐乎。　　再来说说码农们的颜值和衣品，你印象中的他们可能是这样的：　　但其实生活单纯的学霸码农可能只是缺乏女友（基友）们的点拨，只要稍微打扮下，各大高校和硅谷中的码农们还是有不少肖奈潜力股的。　　知名网站Business Insider最近出了一份美帝高校颜值排行榜，其中有不少学校都是CS专业的名校。这些学校大部分都属于综合型大学，男女比例不会过于失调，快点和申请君来一起看看，究竟是哪些大学榜上有名呢？University of Wisconsin — Madison　　（颜值排名：25，专业排名：11）　　Madison, Wis.　　"Everyone is really nice. Most people are down to earth and friendly."如果不是因为这部电视剧，可能大部分人对于CS专业的颜值还存在着偏见。　　其实出自CS专业的男神女神可不光存在于这种青春小说中，现在精英都往这个行业扎堆了，不乏部分学完金融、商科的大牛们再学个技术傍身的。　　根据美国劳工部发布的数据来看，在美国工作的外国人中，有一半左右的人从事计算机行业，且未来十年内这一行业的需求增长比例将会达到22%。《普林斯顿评论》更是将计算机科学专业评选为最具就业前景专业。　　申请君在此温馨提醒，申请CS专业文书一定不能马虎，因为它实在是太热门了。根据数据，大多学校录取门槛也因为挤破头的录取者而水涨船高，就好比现在托福100分是基础门槛一样。当然，文书也是重中之重。　　我们的码农朋友可能在敲代码和搞学术上一骑绝尘，在落实到文书上作self-selling时，反而缺乏了精气神。　　申请君曾和一位CS专业的浙大学子就文书问题，反复互动修改了半个月，这位码农学弟的目标院校是MIT，他在专业经历描述总是缺乏逻辑，语言非常跳跃，恨不得把自己的所有经历全部写在文书上，缺乏将自己的优势概括出来的能力。申请君就告诉他，申请MIT的同学在硬件条件上都十分优秀，一纸文书如何彰显软实力就显得格外重要。在三轮润色中，这位码农学弟的文书才终于过关。2015年顺利被MIT的EECS专业录取。预祝更多准备申请CS专业的同学们一切顺利！
